FAQs & PRICING

What should I expect from my first appointment?

Your first appointment with a physiotherapist can be an important step towards better health and recovery. Expect to spend some time discussing your medical history and the specific issues that have led you to seek help. The physiotherapist will conduct a thorough assessment, which may include physical examinations and functional tests to understand your condition better. This initial consultation is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and express any concerns you may have. Based on their findings, the physiotherapist will develop a tailored treatment plan that may involve hands-on techniques, exercises, and advice on managing your condition effectively.

What should I wear to a physio appointment?

When attending a physiotherapy appointment, it's essential to wear comfortable and practical clothing that allows easy movement. If you're undergoing treatment for a specific area, consider wearing clothing that provides easy access, like a short-sleeved top for shoulder issues or shorts for knee-related concerns. Avoid restrictive items like jeans, as they can hinder your range of motion during assessment and exercises. Remember, the goal is to feel at ease and enable your physiotherapist to conduct a thorough examination.

How many treatment sessions am I going to need?

The number of treatment sessions needed for physiotherapy can vary significantly depending on the severity of your injury or ailment, and the specific goals of the treatment. Some people may require only a few sessions to achieve their goals, while others with more complex issues might need several weeks or even months of ongoing therapy. It is essential to have regular discussions with your physiotherapist to reassess progress and adjust the treatment plan accordingly.

I’m a beginner, can I come to the Pilates classes?

Absolutely! Our classes are very beginner friendly and are limited to 4 clients per session, allowing for a much more personal approach. All sessions are led by a qualified physiotherapist and level 3 APPI instructor. We are able to adapt to any injuries that you may have to ensure you can participate and get the most out of the session.

We offer chair based classes for those who are unable to get on and off of the floor easily, as well as our mat work classes.
